In 2018, in collaboration with Elegia Developpement, we created the new Aledia headquarters in Echirolles. The Grenoble-based start-up specialized in revolutionary microLED technology just keeps on growing and is looking to build a new factory dedicated to manufacturing microLED displays and components. Aledia is revolutionizing next generation displays. This emerging technology is poised to replace LCD and Oled technologies. It claims to be less energy consuming, longer lasting and able to accommodate other types of sensors. This new production plant will boost Aledia’s competitiveness in this huge market.
THE PROJECT
Aledia once again placed their trust in IDEC HAUTES TECHNOLOGIES to work with them on this new large-scale project, as general contractor and representative for the entire project.
This project proved to be methodical, particularly because of its location in the PPRI (Flood Risk Prevention Plan) area and because of the environmental issues at stake. The building’s steel structure has been designed to withstand the seismic risks in this area. The clean room will be equipped with an FFU (Filter Fan Unit) to obtain an ISO6 class on average and ISO3 class in specific cases for the process equipment. The roofs of the buildings are all designed to accommodate solar panels. The tertiary part of the site is targeting BREAAM Level Very Good certification and E+C- label (Positive Energy and Carbon Reduction Building).
TOUR OF THE WORKSITE
The IDEC Hautes Technologies team, formerly ER2i, in charge of the worksite for the construction of Aledia’s new production unit, organized a tour of the worksite for the company’s employees. This event was an opportunity to showcase the work of our teams over the course of recent months. It was also a friendly opportunity to share experience and knowledge.
We have shared a few photos with you so that you too can embark on this tour of the worksite.
