In 2018, in collaboration with Elegia Developpement, we created the new Aledia headquarters in Echirolles. The Grenoble-based start-up specialized in revolutionary microLED technology just keeps on growing and is looking to build a new factory dedicated to manufacturing microLED displays and components. Aledia is revolutionizing next generation displays. This emerging technology is poised to replace LCD and Oled technologies. It claims to be less energy consuming, longer lasting and able to accommodate other types of sensors. This new production plant will boost Aledia\u2019s competitiveness in this huge market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aledia once again placed their trust in ER2i to work with them on this new large-scale project, as general contractor and representative for the entire project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ER2i team dedicated to this project organized a preliminary tour of the worksite for all of ER2i\u2019s employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Detail on the studs welded on the purlins that will become part of the composite floor (embedded in the concrete).\u00a0This solution takes full advantage of the properties of steel and concrete.\u00a0The connectors (studs) supplement the use of the steel decking by connecting the concrete slab to the steel support beams.\u00a0These connectors prevent slippage between the two materials and help the concrete to add strength to the beams.\u00a0With the same operating load, by using connectors, the dimensions of the steel beams can be reduced, thus reducing the thickness of the floor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n
